Homemade Acne Treatments
If you pay attention to the acne experts, you will hear that to get rid of acne, the first thing to do is to modify your diet and develop better hygiene habits. Then they try to sell their latest “miracle” cure that supposedly bring fast results for your acne. But the catch is that it is successful in “many cases”, but not all cases. Many people who try the cure endure side effects or even get allergic reactions. So it’s always better to try proven home remedies that cure acne that work as well (or better) and have a high success rate. They are usually cheaper and don’t require a doctors prescription.

One popular method to treat acne at home is using cotton dipped in alcohol and use this on your face. What will happen is that the oatmeal will dry up and absorb excess sebum oil hair follicles. When you are finished make sure to rinse your face with cold water.
You might want to try another homemade acne treatment that has been successful. It involves using honey and apples. This method uses grated apple, combined together with 4 teaspoons of honey. This mix will be the paste you use on the acne. Wear it for around 10 minutes. Once done remove it and rinse your face with warm water. Do this two or three times per week for the best results.
